Markiplier is an animatronic and Easter egg in Five Nights at Candy's, Five Nights at Candy's 2, and Five Nights at Candy's 3. His name and appearance are based on Markiplier, one of the most subscribed and most popular YouTubers, whose full, real name is Mark Edward Fischbach.
Previously to the planning of Five Nights at Candy's, Markiplier started out as a fan-made animatronic.
Appearance
This unique animatronic shares the exact appearance of the real Markiplier as a "toy"-type animatronic. He even wears his famous pink mustache (also known as the "Warfstache") on the upside of his upper-lip.
Description
The Markiplier animatronic is a secret Easter egg and a Non Canon animatronic that can be triggered by clicking the Warfstache drawing in Cam 11. He then appears on the PC on the player's desk and yells: "I...am the king...of Five Nights at Freddy's!" This is a nod at what Mark says upon beating the fifth night of the original FNaF game. Markiplier makes another appearance in the remastered version of FNaC. When clicking the Warfstache in the Drawing Room, Mark appears on the PC again and says "Wha-ha-ha hey there. Hi. How you doing there kitty cat?" This line refers to the time Markiplier first played Five Nights at Candy's, in which Cindy had appeared at the door for the first time.
Behavior
The Markiplier animatronic has no impact upon the gameplay or lore. Once the player triggers the easter egg, the Markiplier animatronic will appear on the computer in the office. It will then say, "I am the king of Five Nights at Freddy's!". This line is a reference to Markiplier's exclamation upon beating the sixth night of Five Nights at Freddy's.

- This animatronic was made in Blender, like the other animatronics in Five Nights at Candy's.
- The animatronic was used in many Five Nights at Freddy's 3 hoaxes along with Candy the Cat, thinking they were going to have appeared in the games, but was later debunked to be false.
- The Markiplier animatronic is a reference to the famous YouTuber Markiplier.
- Emil Ace Macko confirmed that The Markiplier Animatronic is Non Canon and can't affect the lore in any way.

The player can trigger the easter egg by typing MARK on their keyboard. A sound clip of Markiplier imitating ghost sounds will play. He will then say, "I'm not actually living, I just like to pop out a little, like a ghost!" (Ghost sound) "Noooooooo" .
Markiplier appears once again in Five Nights at Candy's 3, but not as one might expect. Markiplier only appears in the Bedroom, he appears as a doll.
Appearance
Markiplier appears as a doll version of Markiplier's current appearance, losing his toy animatronic's appearance. He is a humanoid doll with black eyes, black hair with a red bang wearing a black shirt with a red "M" on it. He is even wearing his Warfstache.
Behavior
The Markiplier doll has no impact upon the gameplay or lore. He appears on the shelf with 8 ball, four books, and Piggybank.
